We teach children how to think, not what to think - through dialogue, dilemmas, and decision-making. Our programs build 21st-century skills: critical thinking, empathy, collaboration, and the courage to speak up.
Welcome to The Why Community
The Why Community designs experiential learning tools that help children aged 4–12 develop critical thinking, empathy, and ethical reasoning through dialogue, dilemmas, and real-world exploration.
Our goal is to make thinking playful, connecting learning at school, at home, and in the community.

The Need
Education today often lacks accessible, structured resources that promote thinking and reflection.
Our Unique Approach
We blend pedagogy, storytelling, and innovative technology so children learn through play, dialogue, and curiosity – at their own pace and style. Our courses encourage active exploration beyond the screen, putting children at the center of real-world learning.

Why Watch
In Why Watch activities, through short videos, mini games, quizzes, and many other surprises, children get inspired, learn, explore various topics, and start their adventure at their own pace.
Why Debate
Children engage in dilemmas with multiple perspectives, using Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats as a technique for decision making
They learn to reason, argue, and empathize, while understanding that most questions don’t have just one right answer. Used in classrooms, learning groups, or at home.
Why Cases
Real-world challenges encourage inquiry-based learning.
Children act as “researchers,” collecting data, weighing options, and making informed decisions using the Thinking Routine: Claim – Support – Question (Harvard Project Zero)
A fun way to excersise ethical reasoning, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Why Philosophy
Inspired by the Philosophy for Children (P4C) methodology, Why Philosophy invites children to explore big questions such as justice, happiness, truth, etc, through play and imagination.
A joyful entry point into reflective and meaningful thinking, using the Compass Points Thinking Routine (Harvard Project Zero).
Why Experience
We create experiential interactive experiences for children. Through play, children discover the world and develop 21st century skills!

A sneak peak into the why universe
Why Debate | The Shrimp Dilemma
🦐Shrimp have been the local specialty for years, and the regulars at Why Beach consume hundreds every day! But recently, their population has dropped significantly, and now customers are faced with something... terrifying! The KRAKEN, which lives in the depths of the sea and can no longer find shrimp to eat, is coming out and snatching them right off the customers' plates! What solution will you come up with for this problem?
Why Cases | The Factory Case
🏭 A new factory on Becoz Island has caused a stir from its very first week, turning the world of Why upside down! The huge variety of clothes and accessories at super low prices has excited even the most reserved shoppers. But… there’s a problem.🕵️ Who’s responsible?
Why Philosophy | Who owns the sky?
Today, Why took their drone up into the sky. They flew so high that the houses looked like bricks and the cars like little dots moving around as if in a video game. From up there, they felt like he could touch the sky, as if it belonged to them. And that's when they stopped for a moment and thought, "Wait a minute... who does the sky belong to?" And then they started asking questions...
Why Experience | Reconstruct your city!
The competition for the best city is coming up! But... disaster strikes! There has been a major earthquake in the city of Why, and everything has been turned upside down! There is very little time left to rebuild the city and submit our entry to the competition!
